It just happened today. I told her the good news. She's not sure...

Lupita has been worried about her fate. She's the only one who hadn't been bought. She'd been claimed a few times, and hence had gotten a name. But she'd never had a collar. Every one of her siblings had. She is a very good puppy and she just wanted a forever home to love her.

Thanks to my friend, @whitedolphin, I had been speaking with Lupita and asking her what was her heart's desire. She just wanted to stay here at the farm with her Mama and her Grandma.

Lupita liked life at the Farm!

Lupin's new family is a young couple with 4 children ranging from 11 to 4 years old. Who came to claim Lupita with a brand new collar and leash was 4 year old Mateo and his father, Gregory. Their first meeting was precious.

Mateo and Gregory brought Lupita a new collar and a leash. She'd never worn a collar before nor walked with a leash. She'd seen the other puppies, but she, herself, never had.

Lupita needs some practice with the leash, and the some adjustment to the feel of the collar. I am sure in a day or so, she will get the hang of it. For now, she thinks it is a toy to play with Mateo.

She got in the back of the car with her new side-kick, Mateo and off she went to to her new home and to meet the 3 other children, along with their Mother who will be her family. She has no idea what a wonderful family she is going to join.

The icing on Lupita's Cake is that...

She will be living in a remote jungle farm community, called Harmonia, up Paradise Road (literally, you can't make this stuff up!) and she will be community neighbors with two of her sisters! This will be fantastic for the families who will have an enhanced security network as their puppies grown into mature German Shepard dogs, and a meaningful bonding for the sister puppies, and all the beautiful children involved. Although they each have their own family located on several acres of land each, they share a community together.
