How to get motivated by BEING and not by DOING and HAVING actssteemCreated with Sketch.

We regularly discuss this since the Age of Aquarius, yet few individuals know what drives them to make decisions and act. And you? Can you respond quickly?

For millennia, the world has believed that when we want something, we do what we can to obtain it and feel good about it. These examples demonstrate this thinking:

If I had a companion, my life would be easier and happier.

I would quit my job, follow my plan, and be happy and proud if I had money.

This old-fashioned belief is outmoded. She resists the Aquarius Age's movement.

They then focus on addressing their wants, such as being pleased and proud of oneself, by discovering different ways to do so. Even if her initial goal doesn't come true, she finds alternative ways to be and feel the way she wants, making it simpler to make the right judgements.

Conversely, persons who are motivated by having and doing believe they must have or do something to succeed. For instance, someone who thinks they need money to succeed forgets that it's just a tool.

Suppose a couple wishes to buy a suburban home. Before acting or thinking if they have enough money, they should consider how a house would help them BE and FEEL.

They won't feel better if they're trying to please their parents or siblings. They may also want to buy a house as an investment for retirement, which implies financial insecurity. As soon as you are inspired to have it or do it, you risk regrets or troubles since you have not verified which BEING need matches your desire.

Remember that desires are always tied to “having and doing” and needs to “being”. If you struggle to answer "Having this house would help me be what?" Consider your emotional response to the prospect of your wish being fulfilled.

Know that no one else should meet your needs. "To be desired, admired, recognised, etc." is a need that depends on others and does not satisfy you.

Seeing a need changes your energy. Let's revisit the pair. Men can be more creative with a suburban home because they can have a DIY workshop and enjoy gardening. Madam hopes this residence would help her be calmer and more patient with the kids after work. Both think they will be healthier by strolling in nature, which they don't do in the huge metropolis.

After realising our true requirements, we swiftly find the energy to have and accomplish what we want.

I have been practising BEING for years and have found that it helps me to have wants without shame. When a desire brings me WELL-BEING, I know it meets a need. Checking my needs helped me stop being spontaneous, which had led me into difficulty before.

This doesn't require much thought. Needs can be found fast. Being more aware of your senses and feelings will help you find it faster. For me, I immediately sense a WOW, which confirms the requirement of my BEING. You know practise makes everything simpler and faster.

When your needs drive you, you are in the light because you are listening to your heart, not your worries or ego. This light helps you obtain aid, develop good ideas, and take activities that advance your aim.
