Of course, we understand the need of taking a break, especially during busy work days. One of the bad scenarios that most affect our work performance is sitting in front of the computer all day and focused on work.
We all enjoy taking a break and going for a walk and having a cup of coffee from time to time. What if there isn't enough time to go for a walk? There are simpler ways to apply if the break time required is only 10 minutes. First and foremost, I'd want to discuss the 20-20-20 rule.
What Does the 20-20-20 Rule Mean? The 20-20-20 rule states that every 20 minutes you sit in front of the computer, you should take 20 steps away from your work area and breathe deeply for 20 seconds. Although it appears to be a simple procedure, it has a significant impact on your performance.
Now let's look at some other options for how we may spend our 10-minute breaks...
Unfortunately, many of us are increasingly clutching to our phones in order to escape the monotony of daily life. However, with proper application, we may use our phones to boost our performance. You may use your phone to download programmes that will help you relax while your brain is resting. In this regard, the "TedTalks" application may be the most effective. Listening to a short speech that will not fatigue your brain when you want to relax will not only soothe you, but will also expand your knowledge.
Are you tired of working in your office? Do you wish to take a break from your work for a while? Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and transport yourself to the places where you feel most at ease. For example, visit a forest and sing songs around a campfire, or relax on a peaceful beach while listening to the waves. It's all a figment of your imagination. Unless teleportation is devised, it appears like this is the best trip we can take for the time being.
Want to take a break but don't want to leave your computer? Then we instantly go to the videos that we enjoy watching the most and that make us smile. (Of course, cat videos are a must-have in this field.) While going between the videos, you will unknowingly fill 10 minutes. If you don't want to watch videos, the screen refresh approach is a tried-and-true relaxing technique that hasn't altered in years.
