This is what our generation find very hard to believe. We have taken the internet as our mentor and fashioned our lives via trends on social media. Social media now dictates what we do, how we do it and when to do it. The internet is now a yardstick of living standard for many people and when some people have made positive living from it, others have lost every sense of livelihood and morals through it.
In primary school we use to sing "parents listen to your children, we are the leaders of tomorrow, try to pay our school fees and give us sound education". But somehow i feel there is a mistake in the song; what does a child know to teach when a parents' experience has lived it all. We must go back to the state of listening to our parents for guidance and guardance...not everything is on google...the internet should not be the foundation of our lives. It should take the place of family, relationship, trust or communication. There is more to life than google can teach!
It is with Love!

Hi buddy, i think won't agree with u at some point. BECAUSE i think Today's generation of teens are more informed, are more sophisticated, and to a cetrain extent more ambitious. They are not more spoiled, they are just enjoying the comforts of modern times. Do they have a choice?

Yes we all have 'a' choice! Sophistication is not same as wisdom neither does the availability of information connote that the benefits are received. While i am not against the world of internet, i just dislike the possibility that we wont have a commitment future should we allow it take the place of relationship...
Thank you very much @jordanlove

This post is becoming very interesting @ outhori5ed. This generation should definitely have a choice, many of the teens are now addicted to so many negative things. For example, parents pray that their children be greater than them, not in an negative ways where a teen does the things he sees on the screen . Many children have lost their lives, because they were trying to practise what they have seen on screen. @jordanlove certainly this is not enjoyment. Parents should be closer to their children, the gap now is too much.
