Growing plants that cannot overwinter outside in your location can be difficult, but if you keep them potted and bring them indoors for the winter, then you can grow almost anything. However, if you don't bring them inside quick enough in the fall, or if you move them back outside too early in the spring, it can mean death...

I am unfortunately notorious for letting things slip and missing bringing plants out of the cold. I can't even fathom the number of plants I have lost over the years due to this.

I understand that for sure. I'll be focusing more on "my own growing zone," but I still like a few "exotics"

I can see a glass house appearing on the farm before next winter to solve the problem
