KIDS - THEY GROW UP SO QUICKLY

in life •  7 years ago

I'm glad that my children don't grow up as fast as these kids.

KING - BIGGER EVERY DAY

It was only about three weeks ago that King was born, and he's already packing on the pounds and growing taller every day. Compare this little photo of him after his birth above with this one.

Yeah, that happened quickly. He's bigger than our two bottle babies for sure, and he's hopping around like crazy. Goat kids are so rambunctious and playful, it's a real delight just to watch them. It's pretty much like a constant marathon of "America's Funniest Animals" going on every day on our homestead.

Thankfully, he's a friendly little guy, and he's not only fun to watch, but the @little-peppers have a blast playing with him while I milk his mom, Daisy. That's what Monster Truck got to do today. To see happy kids playing with little kids is a treasure and a joy. It may not always be easy, but it is a blessing in the end.

Here you can see that his little horns are coming in too. It looked like he was getting really pointy eyebrows at first, which was pretty funny. I've seen how long horns can grow in just one year, so it'll be interesting to see how these grow. As always, life is passing by, things are growing older, and we've got to focus on enjoying the moment or we might miss it all. I hope that you enjoyed the photos!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

The name @papa-pepper, reality and caring. If I may not offend you, the suffix portion of you name is against your character. It should have been "papa sugar" after watching the love towards your biological as well as pet children.
Love the way you are involved in parental care, very miniscule of people in today's fast world are like you.
Thanks being natural and pure.
Regards.

I totally agree.... @papa-pepper, Papa-sugar

Wow. Thank you so much for that.

The sweet goat has become a friend

So cute child

a very spoiled goat, cool lol @papa-pepper

Haha
😊 He got a friend, he spent his time enjoyable.

Very true. Although it's all relative.
My boys will be 15 and 16 next month, and it still seems very quick. When I look at photos from only a couple of years ago it's incredible how fast it's all going...a bit like with your king
😏

They sure do!

Love this picture, he's so proud :)

honestly speaking now a days, kids are very much into technology and the first thing they do is watch porn, that why phones should not be given to kids at a very young age, and i am so happy to see these kids raised with good parents, surrounded by animals and nature, and i feel this is how kids should be raised.

Your kids look nice and healthy, time does fly but just keep them doing outside activities and away from the tv-ps4-Internet.....spend as much time with them as you can because they dont stay young forever. Animals are great to have with your kids it shows them you can love and be kind to other creatures besides just people.

how long until he is big enough to eat or will you keep him as a goat stud?

Wow...King has really grown , he looks really strong and healthy; very soon the little-peppers won't be able to lift him :)

Yeah, at the rate he's growing, he will soon be too heavy.

Cute kids and also the little goat, they look happy to play together. Good post @papa-pepper, i like it👍👍👍.

Amazing post.this great animals photograpy.
Thanks for sharing this post..
I like this photo..

Resteemit.

Seems like only yesterday....... Enjoy each day with those children and their excitement with life's everyday activities, especially with all of them critters.

I'm happy I'm not growing as fast these kids. @papa-pepper ,you ain't predictable, we can't tell what you got in stuck for us next. Anticipating your next post.
I just dropped one, taking your lead

good to see your kids doing so well. (and the @little-peppers too). I can just imagine how much mischief the two lots of kids combined can get into ;-)

I do like the look of goats as an addition to the family. Do they generally stay friendly or do they become more grumpy as they get older....?

We will see, I've heard both.

Thanks God humans' child don't grow as fast as Kings' ;)
I think the most of the time we enjoy with our kids belongs to their childhood because after growing they become busy in education and all other matters and give less time to parents. Though I don't have children, but I wish that whenever my kids will be, they remain younger for quite a lot of time so that I could enjoy their company :)
Little pepper and King, both are cute :)

Wow now that is quick growth! Might need to just set up game cams so you can watch them grow by the second!

They're adorable! The four footers and the two footers! I love baby goats, so frisky and bouncy...they're laughter waiting to happen, for sure! Thanks for sharin

Love the pictures, everyone looks so happy! I got a little tear in my eye, your little peppers are so sweet, but that turned to laughter when I saw you tag that last post with, "Proof-of-kid-growing-up-quick." LOL

You've inspired me, @papapepper to start blogging a tiny bit about my own children. You are creating something really special for your children that has nothing to do with money. I'd love for my children to have the same type of "blockchain memory book."

Pepper on, Pepper family. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yeah - a steem powered blockchain memory book!

Joy to see a healthy, happy, growing baby animal.

It really is!

Great pictures can't wait to have my own goats :)

I love to watch the goats! We are up to 7 amp going for 5 more. I love to watch my 4 year old play and when you get them together something is bound to happen amusing and exciting. Your King is a bruiser, such a big fellow.
One of the craziest thing I saw a goat in a tree. Wish I had a camera at the time. I was on my dirt bike and I had to take a double take. A goat on a branch about 8 ft off the ground. The tree was slanted and I guess he decided he was king of the hill or tree!

All credit to you. You always feed them well and take good care of them all. I sincerely admire you sir.

they seem very cheerful

@papa-pepper, your title for this post completely stumped me. My mind was moving in the direction of your kiddos. Smiled when I realized you were talking about your goats.

Regardless both grow up so quickly.

Yeah, sometimes I do that.

Kids... gotta love em'!

Oh yeah! #truestory

Your kids with the goat is really cute! They probably really like having all the animals around!

Yeah, we all do! Thanks man! YOU ROCK!

He is so cute!
yeah, animal grows fast than humans.
That goat name is king.
What your son name?

Just think if the little- peppers packed away as much food per pound as the little kids do mama- pepper would have a full-time job just making their clothes, and you would need a team of cooks getting their food ready.

LOL - Good point!

God is Great!
He can do what he want, fast grow of king is an example of it.
Thanks for sharing.

Amen to that! He's great!

My children are all grown up now but I felt the same way you do about them growing up and being glad they didn't grow up as fast as our animals. Its a joy to watch them interacting and enjoying the animals. I hope their love and enjoyment continues and grows as they get older, animals are a lot of work but they definitely bring a lot of joy to our lives as well. :D
God bless you and the pepper clan. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D

God bless you all too! Thank you!

You're welcome! :D

This is the activity of children who are filial with parents, they will always help every job of their parents, educate them well.
hopefully they always succeed like you @papa-pepper.

When I read your posts I get the vague idea of what I want in future for me.

Wow! Very cool to hear!

lovely... welcome to share your animals in #dailypetphotography !

Love the photos of the kids! Sometimes it feels like your kids grow just as fast as the animal kids. I had a son have his 32nd birthday this week. It seems like just yesterday he was a little kid playing on the farm with other baby animals. Where does the time go?

It's truly amazing how fast they grow! Of course in the wild, God knew that baby animals make appetizing snacks. The faster they grow, the faster they can run from predators!

Very, very good point!
