This could have turned out terrible. The only reason that it didn't was the attitude of my wife. This is a prime example of just "rolling with it" and making the best out of a situation.
CHECK THIS WOMAN OUT!
While attempting to help some children with a painting job for the local 4H, @mama-pepper happened to get some white paint on her pink skirt. Upon finding out that this paint would NOT come out, she had two choices. She could freak out, make a scene, act like some irrational "modern woman" and threaten to sue people, or she could roll with it.
She chose to roll with it and check out this skirt now! Can you even tell where she got that spot of paint? She just had the kids help her blot the rest of her skirt to match, and now it looks like this. Honestly, I didn't even realize that there was anything "wrong" with the skirt! What do you think? Did she totally ace this one? I think so!

It's insane how much people care so much about all the little thing that don't matter and care so little for the big (and small) things that actually do matter. By God, but that skirt is really great, hahahaha. It looks like a factory print; but the way it was created has much more value. I could say it was a wonderful accident. I particularly like to take advantage of clothes, giving a little renovation. Once a pantalos was affected with chlorine. I thought I would lose it. But finally I ended up putting chlorine everywhere and the result was great. She has been very ingenious with that skirt.

My Daughter bought a S&W pistol that had been splashed with acid (it was NEW) for $200. I told her I would strip the finish, and reblue it for her, she told me NO. She liked the leopard skin finish, and she was right, it did look good!

Btw, @papa-pepper, have you heard of The Reptile Man? He came to visit our local library with an assortment of really cool reptiles. In the end, we all got to hold a 6 yr old alligator, a leatherback turtle and an 8 ft Burmese Python. Anyway, he also brought a water moccasin which made me think of you. He has his own Reptile Zoo in NW Washington and he does surgery to remove the venom sacs from his snakes. He's been at it for over 30 years, but he was a super cool presenter. Really knowledgeable and funny too. Just had to share with someone who might appreciate it. It was a great homeschool opportunity for my kiddos since I'm not nearly as brave with critters as you! 😊

I used to enjoy hosting a petting zoo and let all the preschoolers have a turn milking our goat back in California. The little ones are naturals! Adults take more practice! Lol!
