Inle Is One Of The Favorite Place In Myanmar....

The next day my friend plan the trip to visit around the town and Inn Lay lake. At the Morning we had Shan traditional noodle for breakfast.

We had shower before our trip. Showering at the cold weather is not the easy task for us because of we do not used to it for long time. After shower , we started our trip to Inn Lay Lake. On our way, my friend told me that my family member and his will ride a boat around the Inn Lay Lake and, he and myself will drive along the cost of the lake and kill time to wait for them until they come back.

He made a call to his friend to have lunch with us. His friend recommend one of the good restaurant near the lake. We drive to the cost and look for the restaurant, unfortunately it was on the lake house. At that time the renting of the boat to go sight seeing , the boat owner said they can arrange to carry me into the boat and can ride the boat without transferring down from the wheelchair.

So they transfer me into the boat with the wheelchair and ride until to the restaurant and carried me up the wheel chair with me to the restaurant. The restaurant’s popular dish was BBQ fish.

We order each for all and some other side dishes. True enough that BBQ fish was so delicious indeed and we enjoy a lot. Another my favourite side dish was fried fresh potato chips (local style) because they fried only after we order from the raw potato. The restaurant name was Shwe Yi Win Food House. After we had lunch , they transfer down me to the boat and our sight seeing began.

From the lake, we can see so beautiful Shan high land and it was very amazing of the wonderful nature view. In my mind, when this mountains formation time , it must be very scary the earth movement and lots of explosion earth quick might happened and so many people might die. Inle Lake was not surprisingly appear after the formation and it was between the mountains. But the nature beauty was not make by human being and pricelessly beautiful.

We started to ride a boat from the restaurant after crossing a lot of floating farm and we started to see very wide beautiful lake. We become to see water creature bird. Especially gulls are following and flying with us along and getting food from us. Their flying skill was very skilful and at the same time they can catch and eat the food that we feed them into the air. It was my first experience and we enjoy a lot.

The boat owner bring us to a few famous places of Inle lake around. Firstly, they bring to lotus flower waving factory, ride after a few minutes to “A lo taw pauk “ Pagoda. At the jetty of the pagoda, a lot of floating market selling fruits and flowers. We bought some cracker to feed gulls while on our way back. But I did not manage to go up to the pagoda because of too many boats are alighting. My family went up and visit and bought some traditional massage tools for me.
Again we continue our journey to “Paung Daw Oo” Pagoda.

At that place the water was become shallow and brown water. And also I didn’t went up to visit pagoda because the water was shallow and the jetty was high position to carry me up. They have a lot of bridges to connect each other place and all the boats were travelling under the bridges.

I notice that every house have many kinds of boats used as transport to travel around the lake. All the schools and offices are also in the lake. Another surprise thing was they have electricity provided by government. One of the surprise thing was the toilet was also built in the lake and just flush into the lake through the tube. All the native people are very polite and friendly but everyone get sun tent and become reddish colour on their skin.

After visited Pagoda , we decide to come back to the shore, during our way back to shore , we feed gulls again and enjoy our journey.

After alight from the boat, we went to one of the famous restaurant on the mountain called “Red Mountain”. The view was very beautiful scenario because we can see the whole Inle lake and back ground of the sun set. The restaurant is in wine yard and beautiful building and lots of car park. But unfortunately, wheelchair not accessible to the restaurant. So my friends and family carried me down to reach to restaurant and have dinner. We order their local wine and foods. The foods taste are not so bad but their service are quite slow to get in order.

After we have dinner , we drove back to Taung Gyi and arrive at about 7 pm. We continue to enjoy our time with soccer match (barcelona vs real madrid) and whiskey. After we chatting each other about Singapore and the next day plan to Kayah State , we call off our day. The weather was cold for us and we need a lot of blanket to warm ourselves but we didn’t get good sleep. But we are exciting to go another place.
