I agree; many of us are quite skilled at self-bullshitting. In fact, I suspect that for some people, it never catches up with them — at least not in ways they recognise. You just kinda go on coasting through life and wondering why things aren't working out the way you expect, not realising that it's your own self-deception that's causing the problems. (Or maybe that's what you meant?)

I agree. I think it is easy to slip back into that again too. Yes that is what I was meaning.
