There are times in our lives that we feel hated, disturbed or discouraged. Conversely, there are times we feel loved, settled and encouraged to carry on with life's pursuits. Though disturbing news headlines sell faster and better, we still receive good news from distant relations, life being fair on us, and we get healing and strength from the inside of us.
Moments are not just special, people make them special. One way or the other, most of the deposits I have within are contributions made by friends, families, colleagues and well-wishers.
I have met with different people in different phases of life who have made me a better person. Irrespective of my personality, they have made life worth a living. Time will fail me to list names but I will just do well to capture some memorable moments in this writeup.
(1) LIFE AS AN UNDERGRADUATE
Every decision we take in life leaves its impact on us, positive or negative. I have made good decisions as well as bad decisions.
One of the good decisions I took as an undergraduate is joining "The Christian Union", one of the fellowships in University of Nigeria, Nsukka. There we were trained and taught the principles of leadership and how to be the best we can be in life.
I remember we met severally on a mountain called Vet Mount for prayers, meetings, picnics as undergraduates. According to the historical information gathered, the building on Vet Mount became roofless as a result of the civil war that broke out between the then Biafran nation and Nigeria. That might interest you to know.
It was quite exciting to meet with students from different Nigerian universities gather for a conference. It's really inspiring when people share ideas on crucial matters partaining to life and godliness.
At the completion of our final year projects and defence, we felt on top of the world and then had the time for camera. Meeting with course mates in Combined Biological Science (BCH majors), 2016 set, who later became friends, lovely friends, was so beautiful. And this is part one of my SPECIAL MOMENTS.
To be continued...
Please share your special moments as an undergraduate with us. Let's read and learn from you as well. Thanks
