Interesting the power difference of one word. We have known the phrase to mean what was once lost is now found. But here we are referring to what is now found while lost. Finding inner balance while unbalanced. That what was once a state of no direction is now in a state of stillness, being found all the while being lost.
Losing direction seemed to be a constant flu. What was worse was losing myself again and again... the consistent struggle between realities. But when we have a greater grasp of our internal control it better allows us to navigate uncertainty. Unfortunately, the cold fact is that not everyone succeeds and sometimes drifts away. This is why I write that if you are drifting away or have been drifting, maybe it is or it was a necessary experience for you to understand you can take any direction you choose. Most of the time when faced with struggles we have a difficulty imagining triumph. Most of the time it is only until afterwards we look back and see it was possible all along.
You are not alone. The territory of unknown is uncomfortable and unsettling... until it is not. Until the unfamiliar doesn't matter because the stillness in your inner waves. Those inner waves that reached calm only after the shifting hurricane. If you are let loose onto the vast sea, you may be without direction, but you are also able to sail free. You might be lost, but you might also be found.
