About the freedom of emotions

Are you allowed to express emotions that are inconvenient to others? Doing that is the most fundamental freedom there is. If you hold back; if you don't express yourself because you believe it will upset others, then you are not free. If you're not free to express your inner most emotions to your friends, family or wife/husband because it makes them uncomfortable, then freedom does not exist in your life. Forget the state. If you're not free in your own relationships, then what other freedom is there? The freedom of complete expression of one's emotions in the realm of personal relationships is freedom.
