It’s no small wonder that the world currently spends more than $100 billion per year on bottled water. But what is bottled water really? Many popular brands are simply tap water, ‘purified’ and bottled up to look more attractive and sold in mass quantity. Many people would be surprised to learn that many of the most common brands of water contain fluoride which has been proven, in 24 studies, to lower the I.Q.
The E.P.A. actually classifies fluoride as a chemical having substantial evidence of developmental neurotoxicity.
Did you know that the United States is one of only eight countries in the entire developed world that fluoridates more than 50 percent of its water supply? Even China does NOT allow water fluoridation because it's too toxic and causes damage, proven from their numerous studies. Instead, the waste product from their phosphate fertilizer industry is shipped to the United States, where we add it to our water supply!
Then, we add it to water labeled for our children specifically!
Here are some bottled water brands that contain little to no fluoride!

The list contains data provided by the International Bottled Water Association that you can use to make sure you’re not feeding fluoride to yourself and your family.Source: http://www.foodandourhealth.com/
It is not only in bottled water, up until recently fluoride was a common ingredient in all toothpastes as it was believed to be good for your teeth as it strengthens the enamel. Now that there is a lot of talk that it may not be safe you can find toothpastes without fluoride as well. Sure you don't drink or eat toothpase, but kids often do it if it has a good taste and toothpastes with flouride usually contain a very potent dose of it.
In the end the larger problem is that everything in large doses can be harmful and having a lot of fluoride in your drinking water, bottled or not (especially if you live in US) can apparently cause long term problems later on in your life.
With that said I have seen bottled water that actually contained a very low amount of arsenic, an element considered toxic and poisonous, yet still the place where the specific mineral water is bottled apparently has some arsenic and it is naturally present in the water. Probably drinking a bottle won't do you harm at all, but if you drink a lot of that bottled water every day for a long period of time it wouldn't be very healthy.

Fluoride is terrible. It's hard to believe they're adding poison to our water, but they are. But that's not the only thing to worry about with bottled water. The bottles themselves make them all toxic, unless it's bottled in glass. Read more about why in this post on my site: http://theawarenessrevolution.com/the-bottled-water-scam/
