Cats in the cradle #2: Open your eyes!steemCreated with Sketch.

If you missed the first part, read it here

About 2 weeks passed with our kittens making nothing but eating and sleeping and being cleaned and licked by the mother. It is amazing how quick those little beings grow in this time. Only 2 weeks old and they doubled their weight. Also the kittens become more agile, so that is was more and more hard to take good shots with the camera. But also it was easier, because mummy began to leave her childrens alone regularly (but never longer than 15 min) and although our cat is an outdoor-cat, she never went outside. Daddy was allowed to have a first look at his children, too. Don´t they look proud?

We regularly checked the kittens for health, weight etc. And they were just perfect.

Still with closed eyes the kittens began to try to stand up, although they never left the warmth of their mothers closeness. Mommy always surveilling the scene for dangers...
We also had offered another carton with fresh drapes, which our clean cat-mommy immediately accepted and moved her kittens into the new home.

Most of the kittens time was still filled with eating and sleeping. Neverless, in retrospect, I guess the time were never boring for us watching. Imagine our exitement, when the kittens finally opened their eyes...

But now ... back to sleep until the next episode! Follow me, if you don´t want to miss it!

Yours,
Pollux!

O.o I see that there is a full house, cuteness 100%!

So true! Thx!

er bra at har katen hemma

No idea, what you are talking about... but thx for the upvote!

Upvoted, unless cats are entirely useless.

Well... If you ever had a garden with a mouse problem, you´d think differently! Also cats are very sensible. If you are sick e.g., cats will feel it and do kind of nursing for you, keeping you warm and the purring will help you sleep.

;-)

BTW your Idea worked just fine (ä ö ü Ä Ö Ü)

Katzen hassen Kälte und wollen daher kuscheln.
