My journey to healthy - (sleep in peace auntie)

What have I been up to since my last post?

Well its been a really challenging few months and for a while I felt as if my creativity had abandoned me to seek sunnier climes in pursuit of the summer sun which had failed to show up in England! Not only that, in May this year I learnt that my aunt's cancer had spread and she was informed that nothing further could be done for her. This is after several doses of chemotherapy, which I wish she hadn't had for reasons I'll elaborate on later. As she was discharged and sent home I dug up all the information I could on methods used to help the body heal itself from this dis-ease and forwarded them on to my mother to send to my aunt. I didn't want to accept that this was happening to my beautiful, inspiring, ambitious and caring aunt, who had been such a positive role model in my life. Consequently, I shied away from visiting her when I heard that her condition was deteriorating, I clung on to the idea that if she fed her body the right nutrition, she would regain her health and strength. Sadly, her body succumbed to the illness on 14 August 2017 and it sent ripples of devastation through me and my entire family. In all honesty, after the small amount of research that I have done, her immune system, which was already weakened, was totally obliterated by the chemotherapy and it would have taken a miracle for her to have survived.

Her untimely death has encouraged me to remain steadfast in my pursuit of optimum health for my family and I. There are so many factors to be considered when deciding how best to achieve this as a result of the numerous chemicals in the environment, our food and vaccines among other things, that we really have to be conscious to the task at hand and take all the necessary measures no matter what the cost. This is especially important for our children, as the decisions we make for them today determines the quality of life they will have in years to come.

I'm also looking into the the rate at which cancer has grown in the last few years and the reasons for its continued assent. This year alone I personally know three people who have perished at the hands of “the big C” and it is alarming to say the least. I'll be sharing my findings and any useful information that I come across as well as chronicling my own journey. We need to do something to quell the explosion of this dis-ease which has affected so many families worldwide. Let's educate and encourage one another to make the necessary changes to live a full and healthy life.

Peace, love, happiness and good health.

Truly sorry to hear about your loss. Many condolences.
I am happy that your are now pursuing the quest for optimum health. I am also following that route which is quite a challenge. Have you heard of "The Truth about Cancer" - you might find it interesting.

Thank you. This journey can be extremely because we've become so accustomed to taking everything at face value and we really can't afford to.
Yes, I have watched that documentary. There's also another one called the truth about vaccines. They are both through and informative documentaries which form a good starting point for research.
Glad to hear you making the conscious decision to improve your health. Once we have the correct mindset we can and will succeed.
