So, rather than aiming for finding your true passion, consider discovering your passion first. What is the key to understanding what exactly you truly love? Well, to be quite honest, it's pretty easy. Simply think about what you like, what piques your interest most.
To help you get started, I've written this short list of questions that you can ask yourself to help discover your passions: Do you have any favorite animals? If you don't, are they big or small? What about bugs? Are birds your favorites?
In addition to asking yourself these questions, try also to reflect back on your own childhood and particularly early on in your life when you were growing up. How do you feel about something from your childhood? Was there a single thing that made you truly passionate about something?
What if, perhaps, you grew up listening to some of your favorite music, watching a popular movie, seeing an amazing performance at a sporting event? What if you had a strong love for horses and had many potential passions for horse riding, dressage, or other equestrian activities? Perhaps, that's still alive in you today! All these things, as well as many others, will help you in your quest to figure out your true passion.
Now that you know what your passions are, you can begin to figure out how you can pursue them. Maybe you can spend time in the country riding on your farm, taking a train in the country, or doing whatever activities will allow you to spend time with animals. This could include participating in an annual equestrian show in your area, spending time with horses at the park, or doing some volunteering with a good cause close to you. You might also be able to enroll your children in some courses that teach them about the importance of discovering their heart dreams early in life.
When you know what your passions are, don't let anything stand in the way of pursuing them. Keep your fingers crossed and set some goals for yourself. Do whatever it takes to move forward with the things that really make you passionate about doing. And remember that even if you are not constantly excited about the prospect of new things, eventually you will become excited by just trying something new. Some people have to wait a long time before their passion becomes something they can happily pursue on a daily basis. But if you are persistent, things will eventually happen that will make your passion become part of your daily life.
Finally, you will want to determine how much time you have available to pursue your passions. Figure out where you have the most potential to grow, and keep those ambitions in the forefront of your mind. If you can't move forward with your aspirations right now, that doesn't mean that you can't turn things around for yourself. Many people who pursue many passions at once often find that they are more productive and happier than they might have otherwise been.
So, do you have what it takes to discover your inner child? Take inventory of all that you are currently passionate about doing and start looking for opportunities to grow your efforts. Remember to be self-aware and ask yourself when you notice that you are becoming distracted, which is always an opportunity to find new ways to pursue your passions. Above all, remember to take inventory of your interests and aspirations and write these things down, and share them with yourself often. That's the first step to living your ideal life.
