Imagine how many mouths we can feed to the hunger and the homeless. Plus thats a lot of money that is just flush down the drain
only if the super markets could change the way the discard of food.
If I was to own a market I would at least donate to a good cause . It's
not all about profit . It's about making a change in the world like we need to be doing right now . .Just imagine some people can use some vegetable and dry the seeds out and plant a community garden.

I agree. Unfortunately, many of the vegetables are GMO's and the seeds are of no use for growing future crops. We must push to eliminate GMO's and encourage and support community gardens. If the hunger problem is to be eliminated, it must start with each of us. Forget about the government, we must personally make the change!
