The Table Mountain cable cars are the most beautiful and adventurous things one can ever enjoy in Cape Town, South Africa. The five-minute inclination to the top of Table Mountain gives you a 360° view of Cape Town city ,the ocean and the neighbouring beautiful nature and other flourishing and more greener places. Once you are the top visitors or tourists enjoy an extremely beautiful view of the city and the feeling of being over 1000 meters above the ground. When you are at the actual mountain (the table mountain), the area at the top of the mountain is surprisingly large so one should leave enough time to stroll along the paths, enjoy the viewing platforms and soak up the vistas. The Cableway works in the Table Mountain National Park, an important part of the Cape Floristic Region and the single richest floristic area in the world.
This area is also a World Heritage Site. There is a lot of Fynbos vegetation on the mountain, with over 1 460 different species of plants. The paths cover a distance of more than 2km at the top of the mountain, making for comfortable walking to lookout points from which visitors can view spectacular vistas over the city, Clifton, Sea Point, the V&A Waterfront, Table Bay, the Cape Flats, the Cape Peninsula and the famous Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was arrested for 27 years. You will also see Lion’s Head, Signal Hill and Devil’s Peak mountains. You have good views of the newly completed Cape Town Stadium, that was built to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup. There is a good self-service restaurant and deli for visitors to enjoy food and drinks either seated at the indoor and outdoor tables or to picnic along the plateau. There is also a delicious ice-cream shop. Many visitors enjoy walking up the mountain and taking the cable car back down. The recommended route for the walk up is via Platteklip Gorge to the Upper Cable Station. I hope one day this will be your destination as a tourist in this beautiful city of Cape Town.
Sounds fun! More pics would get more upvotes. As a good gesture, you are my lucky repost of the day 😀

Great view. Nice pic. Mountains and sea - what a bliss. Does everyone use the cable car, black and white likewise? Is Cape Town a place where both live easily together?
