Engagement s*cks lately indeed. And all the Justin posts trending and all still some of the good posts overshadowing is hopefully only temporary. Am not sure of Steem based blogging will become better again, but I do have a bit more hope for the new HIVE chain to be a better. Time will tell. You may leave Steemit, but give HIVE a chance.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    Thanks man. I'll give Hive a chance, but I'm still going to start powering down once all of my Steem is back from delegations. I don't really want to hold it here anymore in hopes of getting some stuff airdropped to me. If their roadmap looks solid and not some incredibly distant future thing I'll most likely get into it.

    It's just a real bummer for me. In theory, this place should be like a better Medium, but with authentic engagement so low it just isn't going to be.
