Another good technique is mindfulness meditation, really helpful to learn as it can be applied throughout all of one's awareness. It's about 'noticing' how one thinks as well as one's environment. It can cause a Fractal of Awareness by noticing what one thinks and then noticing the tonality of that thinking, describing the tonality and then noticing the tonality of the description. The loop of awareness allows for a powerful cycle that can change one's mood and thereby activity.
