A Little More About Myself

Hey everyone it's Peter from Radiate. I will be the one posting on this page. Just to give you some background info on what we're doing here. I'm looking to share and participate on what's going on here. I'm very excited for the potential of Steemit and I'm even more so excited about can get done now.

I'm from New York City and moved down to South Florida for college and joined Radiate; moved up to programming director. Once I left, the college station abandoned the moniker of Radiate and a few of the alumni got together and restarted it. Since the relaunch, I've been trying to raise awareness of it for the past 3 years and with our new website, we joined steemit to try and get more people to listen. My main goal is to get people to listen to the original programming and music and to connect with us!

I like to focus on underground music of all genres and we run 24/7. Listen in at anytime on http://Radiate.fm.

I personally do 2 shows on Radiate (The HUMPday Show and Nocturnal Emissions). The HUMPday show focuses on the 80s with movie clips and music well-known and not so well-known, a celebration of the decade. Nocturnal Emissions dives in to a particular thread of the musical underground from the late 60s until the late 80s. It is in six 30 minute segments beginning with Glam Rock, then Proto Punk, then Punk, then Post Punk and Goth Rock, Industrial and ending with Early "Experimental" music.

I will post on here when I am or anyone else is doing shows. In the meantime we have automated music based on selections from everyone on the Radiate team for you to listen anywhere, worldwide!
