On August 15, 2003, a big blackout occurred throughout the northeastern USA. and Canada, that gave more than 55 million people a glimpse of what life could be like after a large-scale EMP. most services were restored within a day, but that would not be the case after an EMP. Damage to lives and property would be immense, and the devastation would continue for years, if not decades

Mind you it would not be pretty. Our society is not designed to withstand such a sudden massive shock
Airplanes would fall from the sky, most of the cars would be inoperable; electrical devices would fail. Water, sewer, and electrical networks would all fail simultaneously. Systems of banking, energy, transportation, food production and delivery, water, emergency services everything would collapse.
Civilized humanity would suffer massive starvation and population reduction. There would be war and a lot of suffering.

Urban areas would be destroyed and total chaos, but a lot of rural areas and third world countries would not be hit that hard,
the problems for rural areas would be that a lot of people from the urban area would flee to rural areas and would also start chaos there fighting for food, third world countries would not be hit that hard but would feel some effect, since there would be no more help from any outside country for The third world countries there would be massive wars and even more starvation there ,
