Individuality is the aggregate of qualities and characteristics that distinguish a person or thing from others. Often, the word character is used instead of individuality.

People who are individualistic aren't afraid to break away from social norms. They may want to wear a different dress than what's popular or build a house that doesn't conform to the neighborhood.

These traits are usually high or low, but each of us has a combination of them that defines our personality.

Many things that happen in a person’s life can affect their self-esteem. A grade on an exam, how your friends treat you, or ups and downs in a relationship can all have an impact on the way you see yourself.

But, these things only affect your perceptions for a while. It takes time to form a positive, accurate self-view and develop a healthy sense of self-esteem.

You can begin to change your perceptions of yourself by changing the way you think about yourself. Try to focus on your strengths and abilities rather than on your flaws or weaknesses.

It also helps to stop comparing yourself to others. It’s easy to fall into this trap and feel like you aren’t good enough, but it’s important to remember that nobody is ever less worthy than the next person.

Self-confidence is an empowering quality that helps individuals feel comfortable in their own skin and with their decisions. This characteristic makes them more able to take on challenges and meet different kinds of demands without fear of failure or rejection.

Self confidence can be built from a foundation of personal goals. These goals should be attainable, measurable, relevant and time-bound.

Getting out of your comfort zone is one of the best ways to build confidence. This can be done in a number of ways, including starting a new hobby or activity, making progress on an existing project or simply being willing to try something new.

Having low self-confidence can be caused by a number of factors, such as being bullied or having negative childhood experiences. People with low self-confidence may also avoid situations or activities that they find challenging.
