Understanding the difference between knowing and changing is often misunderstood when it comes to change. People often think that they know something about what needs to change, but often do not know how to go about doing so, let alone how to take a step to making it happen.
In order to make this difference clear, you need to first understand what kind of "knowing" you are talking about. If you are an expert on a certain topic then it is easy for you to know what needs to change. If however, you know nothing at all about that subject then you are in a much different situation than the expert.
For instance, if you were to tell someone that you knew nothing about what was going on in the stock market in the last ten years then it would be hard to change their mind because they would immediately assume that you had no idea at all. They would also assume that it was not your fault that the market tanked.
But, if you were to say that you knew nothing about the economy then they would take a more objective look at your knowledge. Instead of thinking you knew nothing at all, they would realize that you had some knowledge that they didn't know anything about. You would see that your information was based on the things you studied, which are the things that are commonly called knowledge. In short, you would be saying that you have knowledge and that is enough for you to make a decision.
To change this knowledge however, you would have to first develop it through experience. The more you study, the more your knowledge will grow. It may take some time to get to the point where you can say you have developed enough knowledge to actually change the way you think about your subject.
Another important difference between knowing and changing is that you must first know something to change it. This is true because there is no such thing as a person that is born knowing all about everything. There is only a person that is born with a certain set of skills and abilities.
If the person learns these skills in a structured manner then they will be able to take an idea and transform it into a reality, even though they do not know all about it. They simply must learn the theory and apply it in an intelligent way to achieve something new.
In addition to knowledge, understanding is another component of changing it. If you don't know what needs to change then it is just as difficult to change it as it would be if you knew all about it.
In order to learn to change, you must learn from those who have done it before. They can provide you with ideas and strategies that will make it easier for you to succeed. They can also give you advice on how to manage your time better, what questions to ask to gain the most from your research, and how to use the Internet to maximize your learning opportunities.
Knowing and changing are two different concepts. Knowledge is necessary but understanding is vital to getting there.
As I outlined earlier, knowing is necessary to make yourself a successful but understanding takes you a step further in making yourself an effective person. Being an effective person is much easier than being a successful one.
You must learn to manage your time properly and you must learn to change what you don't understand into something that makes sense. The problem is that most people spend most of their time doing exactly what they want to do and rarely do anything that they don't want to do.
This type of wasteful behavior is not only wasting your time but also preventing you from having the most efficient life possible. You need to change your priorities and learn how to get things done without wasting your time doing them.
In addition to managing your time, you also need to learn how to delegate jobs to other people so that you don't waste people's time doing the work for you. that you know that you would prefer to do yourself. In other words, you must learn how to work smarter so that you can accomplish more things in less time.
