The kids and I went on a walk yesterday and were impressed with how warm and sunny it was!
On the way home, we found these pine cones.
Anyone else think they look like roses?

These are just the top part of a large cone that has shattered when it hit the ground. I think they are the most perfect pine cones even when they are whole.

They DO look like roses. Interesting. You have to paint them white - dry brush - they'd look so pretty on a plate or glass jar. Nice find!
Your weather is opposite to ours. We are in the deep freeze that hit north central america. I live in southern Ontario and we got a ton of snow and wind and cold.....brrrrr
