2 Mile Run and The 11th Day Of Christmas

in life •  8 years ago  (edited)

Second day of running 2 miles and no pain. I decided to have my Scapa whisky after my run to see if I had any pain just to make sure the whisky didn't numb my pain last time. No pain at all and it was freezing out, I didn't burn my throat from breathing too hard. I jogged slowly and watched my breath like in meditation.

I will report back next week regarding my progress, I'm so excited. Because of a back injury I haven't been able to run for 13 years. The whisky is a tradition, I do a shot a night for the 12 days before Christmas and I don't drink for the rest of the year.

A link to the back story about my injury and recovery.

Great news. :-) The whiskey looks nice.

Soooooo nice ;-)

Well done.let me read about your back and see if mine will let me.

If you have back problems diet and yoga work miracles.

Read about sugar and the rolled towel, might try those.mine might be sciatica too, CT was normal.got it from heavy lifting.cheers with those whisky ;)

I will post more data tomorrow , I've been researching for years and using myself as a test subject.

I think there are loads we can do if we put our mind to it ;)

Well done! I just did 2.7 miles myself but inside on the treadmill. :) Getting back into shape...

Use it or lose it!
