This is an open letter to the human race. The world needs your courage. Our world is broken, but we're here to fix it
We all know that change is inevitable, but we don't always embrace it. Change is uncomfortable. It scares us. It hurts. We resist it. But change is inevitable.
So let's stop resisting it. Let's start embracing it.
Let's stop being afraid of what's coming next. Let's stop fearing the unknown. And let's stop ignoring the problems that are waiting right in front of us.
That's right. That's exactly what I mean by 'embracing' change. The real question isn't about how you'll deal with it; it's about whether you'll deal with it at all. I don't know about you, but I've been on this planet long enough to know that when things get really bad, we go crazy. And even crazier, we make ourselves feel better by going even further away from the problem.
So instead of facing reality head-on, we run, hide, cover up, distract ourselves, and distract everyone else. But we can't keep pretending that everything is fine. Because it's not. Our world is broken. The status quo has failed us. We are struggling with problems that we thought we solved a decade ago.
It's not too late. We still have time. But we need to do something about it now. So we are going to have to face the truth about the world around us, and we're going to have to change. Here are some things that are true. This year, the global economy is going to grow by 4.8%
The world population is expected to grow by 3.6%
Unemployment is projected to rise by over 11 million
Fifty percent of households are expected to experience a drop in their income by 2020.
So if you're one of the people who hasn't already accepted that the world around us is changing, you might not realize it, but it's already happening.
If you haven't changed the way you're living, you may be surprised when your financial situation changes, and you might not see it coming.
But this is only the beginning.
The biggest issue that our world faces isn't money.
It's that we've stopped making progress
This past century has seen a tremendous growth in technological advancement. We've gotten to a place where we can talk to each other on the other side of the globe. We've learned how to communicate on the other side of the planet.
We can travel through space.
We can visit space.
We can communicate instantly over the internet.
There's never been a time when we could reach out to someone and help them directly.
Even in the past, technology was advancing so fast that it didn't matter whether we lived in one area or another, whether we were in different countries or
