The Matrix

In 1999, the world was introduced to the movie, The Matrix. The main protagonist, Neo, was given a choice between taking a red pill and discovering reality or taking the blue pill and staying in his virtual world controlled by artificial intelligent technology and machines. Now, I'm not necessarily saying that we live in a totally virtual world, but I do believe that the movie does symbolically hint at particular aspects in life.

Call it what you will...the grind...the 9 to 5...the rat race...There is no doubt that a job or a career is that many people either love, hate or at least tolerate. Throughout the week, you wake up to an annoying alarm, have to commute and battle traffic, deal with customers or other coworkers, answer to a boss, work long hours, are always on a schedule and live paycheck to paycheck. Now, there are people who say that they love what they do and if they honestly do, that is great. However, whether you love, hate or tolerate your job or career, have you ever wondered if there is something more? Have you ever wondered that you are meant for something more?

Stay tuned if you want to see "how deep the rabbit hole goes"...
