HELLO EVERYONE!

INTRODUCTION

In this post, I will be sharing the presentation which I have done last Monday, December 11, 2017. The presentation has been delivered to the future Mechanical Engineers of our university. It has been my pleasure to present to them the presentation entitled as " Material Transport System " and share the knowledge as well as the experience that I have gained through putting those in the contents of the presentation.

What is the presentation all about?

As the title of the presentation states, " Material Transport System ", and according to my understanding, it is all about the transportation of any kind of material with a system or program to follow. Speaking of a system, the so-called " System Logistics Handling and Transportation Systems " has been made in order to rapidly and efficiently connect all areas used for the receipt of goods, production, order picking and material shipment within the company, optimizing storage and transport within the warehouse.

But for this presentation, we will be tackling a specific topic about " Material Handling ", one of the classification and a very important part in Material Transport System since it has a vital rule connected to it.

What would be the benefit in having a knowledge about Material Transport System?

Well, the very first benefit here is that " having a knowledge is great advantage ". It is better for us to know how the technology evolves and compare the present from the past. Since the systems of transporting materials nowadays became easier and faster, it signifies that the system is also evolving together with the advancements that the technology is encountering. Basically, on my perception there are two kinds of Material Transport System, " the Human Transport System " and " Automated/Machine Transport System ".

If you are going to take a look at it, when you have knowledge about Material Transport System, you can determine that " developing an efficient transport system is very important in the development of our economies since it is a vital preliminary step in the progress of every economic life in our place. " Also, " Transportation and Communication have an important bearing on the development of exchange and markets. "

Having a knowledge about Material Transport system gives you the perceptions that it increases the land values, break economic circles, and thus tends to equalize prices, make labor more mobile, enables a greater division of labor among different industries and countries, determines the geographical distribution of industries and plays a very important part in relieving distress in the famine-stricken areas by rapid distribution of food-stuffs, effectiveness of administration and national defense are inseparably connected with the advancement of transport system.

We should remember that " Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do. By just knowing, you don't have every answer to the recipe for humility, openness, acceptance, forgiveness, and an eagerness to learn in which those are all good things. "
