Regardless of the topic/tag, we choose to write under on Steemit
One thing is apparent and has proven to be a constant.
It takes relationships to sustain us.
It takes giving to one another
Supporting and showing up for one another.
It takes sometimes bringing humor, the energy of happiness.
And during our lonely humble beginnings when we first join Steemit as a New Minnows, know that you will be successful if you stay the course.
As we continue to bring the sunshine to ourselves it will get the attention of others. We just need to continue to put the work in with a passionate consistently and produce meaningful and valuable content.
During our baby step beginnings, we must water our own gardens. As we believe in and nurture ourselves we develop staying power to keep going and growing. And there are some groups on the platform that will embrace your efforts as a beginner such as Minnow Support and Curie.
You don’t just quit because no one liked your first 10 posts. Look at them as just practice rounds during which time you became a better writer.
And you should not make it a habit of asking other people to come to your blog to read your post or to upvote you.
Keep creating and if the niche you have is not working browse the Steemit through posts on the platform until figure out what topics/tags are getting attention. See which ones you resonate with and write on those topics/tags.
And also one thing you can always do that will increase your wallet and your followers find posts you like I mean that you really genuinely like and comment on them daily. Give the best comments you can and people will open up to you more.
###Join some contest/challenges and if you don’t win at first look at the post of those that did and see what made them winners and teach yourself to write better posts using your own style.
And as we continue to explore this platform and not only browse through it but take time to experience the many incredible things that are taking place on Steemit we find all the places that we belong.
By connecting with and following others we find new friends, associates, communities, alliances, tribes, mentors, and muses. And so much more.
Steemit exudes a social ecosystem of a myriad of ways to communicate and relate as we share our gifts and discover things about ourselves and the world that we did not know.
I believe we are all connected to an invisible, woven, interlocking, thread that serves as a compass to guide us on our journey, through good, not so good, rainy, cold, hot and those “just right” days that connect us to year after year of amazing experiences and ways to share a part of our life and our world with each other.
Wishing Happiness, Wholeness, and Abundance to All Steemians On This Platform.

This is one of the reasons I so love this platform. While it does take some effort to learn all of this, it is so very much worthwhile. I still work on teaching people this in a more streamlined way. I even created an online course on it, but it's just so much information that people find it to be a lot to take in even when it is organized for them.
Hopefully the best writers will keep going despite the difficulty of learning the platform and how much harder it is to create connections without groups.

Thank you @indigoocean for stopping by and reading my post and your comments. I would suggest to keep things simple and take one step at a time when introducing people to Steemit. Also if you ever want to team up on skype to do a Steemit Intro session I willing to do that. There is indeed power in numbers. And its about have a passion for the art skills that a person has that would bring them to this platform and create staying power. Steemit is still a baby and I am sure that it will grow and become more user-friendly, in the meantime just ask the question you must. I am still learning as I go I am enjoying the journey. It is not my life work but a part of it.

Steemit sometimes reminds me of a game of chess. When you start playing, you do not know the opponent and you should not be sure that you will win. You must try and do everything possible, then the result will be. This advice I would give to those who have just started their blog and are waiting for rapid success.

What I would say to this @marymik23 is that whether on Steemit or in everyday life you must stay focused on your power and what your gifts are. If life is indeed a game then it would become a matter of how we play the game and if you set your mind to win then also set your mind to do your best with the gifts that you have with the attitude that you will go through life winining no matter where you live or who others think you are or how they respond to you, never give attention or power to the naysayers act as if they do not exist and you be the captain of your ship and you write your own story and walk and live within the story and the world you create you are never the victim in life you are your own superhero who the world will come to see and know as unstoppable and more than a conqueror. You are the one you have been waiting for @marymik23.

I agree with you! This is called the psychology of the winner. There is only one problem, gradually the captain can remain alone on the ship ;)
