The Murder of Alfie Evans

In the middle part of the 20th Century we fought a devastating world war to prevent the evils associated with the Nazi eugenics program. A part of this evil was based on Darwin's erroneous assumption that imperfections could be bred out of mankind producing genetically superior human beings. If for whatever reason your child didn't measure up to the Aryan ideal, they were "allowed" to starve to death- a merciful act in the eyes of the eugenicists as it spared the child a life of dependency and struggle... to the rest of the civilized world it was viewed as an atrocity- barbaric behavior that brought scorn along with a slogan, "Never Again."

Yet here we are some 70 years later, victorious doing the same thing the Nazis did. Little Alfie Evans was born with a condition that would have necessitated continual care, a sacrifice that his parents were perfectly willing to make... a sacrifice that the government of the UK was not. Just as in Nazi Germany, little Alfie was deemed by the British courts to be a "useless eater," a waste of resources. The doctor in charge of the case defended his actions and those of the courts saying that they weren't killing a child, they were "redirecting care." Regardless of how you want to parse it, Alfie Evans is just as dead. And make no mistake, Alfie's condition was NOT what killed him... Alfie dies because food and water were withheld.

If I was to withhold food and water from another human being, it would be murder. But when Alder Hey Hospital did it, it was only redirecting care. In a letter to Cardinal Vincent Nichols of Westminster (who defended the hospital) writer Claire Short says: " “I read your statement on the Alfie Evans case with extreme sadness and disbelief. I felt that you sided with the culture of death that is so prevalent in our society today, rather than standing up for Gospel values of life, hope, love and mercy. In this letter, I want to explore some of the things you said, and also try to get to the root of why you took the hospitals side, rather than that of Alfie and his parents.” She then asks: "“Did you know about the horrendous neglect Alfie was experiencing at the hospital?”

In a previous post I wrote of several problems people have had with Alder Hey. Ms. Short tells the Cardinal: "Alder Hey has one of the worst reputations of any hospital I have ever come across. As a Liverpool boy yourself, I would have thought you would be well informed on the reputation of this hospital.” Read this next part carefully, because it discloses exactly how Alfie died. "Didn’t any of your advisors alert you to them? Did you not know the only reason Alfie was given oxygen and food a whole day after he had been extubated was because his father Tom threatened a complaint, since the death protocol approved by Judge Hayden spoke neither of deprivation of oxygen nor of suspension of nutrition? Did you really not know about any of this? I have spoken to people who were in the courtroom when Alfie was given his death sentence, and they have told me that they have never had such a close and harrowing encounter with the culture of death." He received food and water for only one day after he was extubated... he didn't die for another 4-5 days. You can call it whatever you want, I call that murder.

I wrote about Alder Hey selling aborted baby parts in 1993, but in " 2003 when Alder hey removed 5 year old Amy Enright’s thymus gland during an operation when they treated her for a defective heart. Her parents found out that her thymus gland had been “commercially bartered or sold” by the hospital in exchange for hospital equipment with a pharmaceutical company. Alder Hey removed and sold a body part from a living patient. Did you not know about this either?" Ms. Short's next statement really gets to the crux of this matter...

"As a mother of 3 children, I can now see you have no desire to defend my rights as a parent, which are being further and further eroded away by the state. It is becoming more and more apparent that you were quite happy to sacrifice Alfie Evans and his parents on the altar of political correctness rather than stand up to an increasingly totalitarian state." Any open dissent in the UK to the decision of the court is being met with prosecution... in effect silencing free speech. Maybe the British government should go all the way- do away with any pretenses of freedom or liberty- and open up concentration camps. That way the next Alfie Evans or Charlie Gard can be murdered without anyone saying anything about it.

All of the brave men who died fighting the evils on Fascism (many of whom were Brits) must be turning over in their graves witnessing how their lives were spent in vain. Just like under Hitler, the same eugenicists are deciding whose life has worth to the state and whose doesn't.

Murder. Cruel murder. Barbaric, heartless, evil.
The hospital administrarion, medical personel, police and, yes, War hawk hag Theresa May ought to stand trial for their crimes.

When are they coming for you and your child, reader, you will know that your silence today caused your death then.

They starved him to death and dehydrated him. Nobody can live without food and water. They ought to lock all those criminals in a room and let them eat each other!

They'd probably enjoy that, too.

As long as they can't hurt anyone else!

There's no other word for it, he was murdered. You can also add torture to that. state playing God on who lives or dies - we'll never forget; we'll never stop talking about it till we fix the rot in our system

"Little Alfie Evans was born with a condition that would have necessitated continual care" - Watching this short video I'd be more inclined to ask what and how many vaxxines the child was given - #AlfieEvans You're in my heart you're in my soul .. -

Not that it matters much anymore, but Alfie was not born with a condition. He was a healthy baby, which has led many to believe, myself included, that his disease might have had something to do with the vaccines.
I was surprised to read about this Cardinal, I find his position, not only horrible, but also strange, seeing that Pope wanted to have Alfie brought to Rome. (The Catholic Church is such a mess!)
I could have spared yourself the effort of writing a long post explaining this culture of death. A simple sentence would have been enough: 'A judge signed a death protocol for a sick child other doctors begged to care for.' Says it all! Great post!

So beautiful post..... best of luck

This story is both heart-breaking and revolting. There is an additional element beside the culture of death, which is that the UK signed the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) which is a United Nations human rights treaty that gives states legal authority to make decisions about a child's welfare whereby the state's authority prevails over the parents' authority. In effect the parents are legally powerless. Note that the US did not sign.
