I heard a phase today that shook me to the core.
Don't let what you know get it the way of what you you don't know that you don't know
Holy cow! As a retired USN officer; a successful business guy with a couple of degrees; and an all around smarter than the average bear kind of guy..... I know a lot of stuff! Turns out that a lot of the stuff I know, doesn't readily apply to the current community/economy.
The world has changed! I've come to realize that I really don't know diddly! I've come to rely on mentors 20 years my junior!
And so I'm learning about attraction marketing. I'm learning about SEO, and sales funnels; about lead capture pages and landing pages....
Even in my late 50's I'm trying to push through what I know to learn how to find out what I don't know that I don't know!
