Art Therapy is Good for the Soul

I created these paintings while thinking about life. The first one is called "I Am." We are always evolving. Who we are right now is good enough. In the middle of chaos, we have the power to be calm. Who are you? How do you finish the statement? I am . . .

This painting is called "Believe." First and foremost, you have to believe in yourself. I also like to believe in the best of people. We are all trying to lead happy, productive, meaningful lives. What do you believe in?

This is "Only You." Only you have the answers. Only you can solve the problem. Only you know your true heart. Only you have the power to get to the next level of whatever it is you want to achieve. You can ask for help and support along the way, but only you can actually do the work, whatever it is. What is it that only you can do for yourself?

"Choices" There are millions of choices in life. Even when you are stuck, there are still more choices. Therefore, why give up? Why procrastinate? What is holding you back? What choice do you need to make right now to go forward with your dreams, goals, and desires?

This is "Everything." You have everything you need inside you right now to be successful. Everything is in your power; you just need to go out and claim it. Life is everything. Everything is life. No judgments. It's abundance. There is enough wealth out there for all of us to share. Be grateful. What is your everything?

"Final" Nothing is ever final. Life is a continuous work of art that we are making and creating on a daily basis. Each day is a new beginning. You don't have to accept anything less than the best. Get what you need. Get what you want in life. What do you want in life?

"Lead" Lead with your heart. Lead with your head. Lead is DEAL spelled backward. You have to deal with life, deal with others, deal with problems, deal with success. You have to lead yourself. You have to be your number one cheerleader. You can't lead others if you don't know which direction in life you are headed. Where are you going?

This is "Love." Love is tricky. To love others is the heart and soul of life, or else why are we here? We are not meant to sit alone in our rooms. Love is complicated, but you have to continually put yourself out there--to find love, maintain love. Remember that you have to love yourself first. You have to love who you are. You have to truly take care of yourself and be kind and gentle with yourself. Love yourself through the pain and fear. There are so many different kinds of love. You also have to love what you do. When you find true passion in life, you will be successful. What do you love? Who do you love?

"Selling Yourself" Selling yourself is why we are here on Steemit. We are constantly marketing ourselves. We need to put ourselves out there. We have to be willing to show our authentic selves. Let others see how much you are worth. Are you worth it?
