I love smiling.
A friend told me, she said, in a certain village called Okobo in Nigeria, I was on a run recently when a tall handsome man biking past yelled, “Smile, darling !” Startled, I reflexively forced a smile...but it didn't stay on my face for long. It certainly wasn’t the first time in my life I’d been told to smile by a random man. But while I’ve always been somewhat miffed by the directive, this time, I felt annoyance welling up inside of me. Is it a must to smile? None of the men telling me to smile were smiling. A little boy yelled at me too, “You don't like smiling!” when you smile, you look more beautiful.
Sometimes I just wanna be on my own and I don't see the reason for smiling after exhausted.I told her let me tell you the science of smiling.
The Science of Smiling
