Your daily motivation!

in life •  7 years ago

Hello there all you Steemians out there! For those of you that have been following me you know that i have a huge collection of motivational pictures.

Before joining steemit i had no clear goal as to what i wanted to do with the pictures. But whenever i was feeling down i started looking at them. And usually somewhere between the fifth and tenth picture i regained the motivation needed to push on in this life.

Therefore I share one of these pictures with you everyday. And every month I will make a post containing the three pictures you, the Steemians, valued best. When looking at this valuation I look at the recieved amount of votes, not voting power. All are equal under the sun.

So what then, is motivation:

Motivation is literally the desire to do things. It’s the difference between waking up before dawn to pound the pavement and lazing around the house all day. It’s the crucial element in setting and attaining goals – And research shows you can influence your own levels of motivation and self-control. So figure out what you want, power through the pain period, and start being who you want to be.

Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen... yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.

I appreciate your motivation it made me sad and happy at the same time. It reminded me of when I was a child and I got an operation. The doctors told me I wouldn't be able to lift anything over 40 pounds ever again. It sounds stupid but really affected my views and told me I wasn't good enough for my atheletic interests. But here I am after 3 years of intense gunning skills lifting over 135 pounds and I love it! I've failed and I still do but I try harder the next time :) thank you for the reminder !

yes indeed - just keep on keepin on! Lessons in the trying, no matter the outcome!
