Nowadays this is my Saturday daytime activity - RUSH

Work all week and then look forward to the weekend ... Saturday morning, wake up late, leave and do what you want.

That is until you have a family ...

Once there, it is no longer sleep late. But rush to get to my daughter's match on time.

Every Saturday the same rush

It is as if our brain is also opposed on Saturday morning.

The whole ritual we think of beforehand always runs into the soup.

  • Put the alarm clock on time

  • Then we can have breakfast and drink coffee at our leisure

  • Quietly plan the route

  • Board the car to go on the road

  • But no, it is always with us in this way; *

  • Sleeping through the alarm clock

  • Fast washing

  • Pull the coat, bag and hockey gear from the coat rack

  • Determine the route in the car and hope that we are on time

Rest once the competition starts

As soon as our daughter is on the field within the lines, rest begins with us.

I still get my coffee at my convenience and see if there is something to eat in the canteen for us.

After the race, do the weekend shopping and it is almost evening.

One more day and then relaxed working at the office ...

Runs into the soup 😂

I thought the expression was pleasantly translated ;)

Dutch people know for sure what you mean. I think it’s very funny 🤣

So is the day to day of a man with family, without rest or weekends or holidays, every day will be working always ... good post friend!

Enjoy weekend!!!

Same ritual here, although I have two sons. They both play soccer. And ofcourse they have to play both in different cities over and over. But I like watching them play and having fun, so it is worth to sacrifice my saturday :) have a nice one !!

At least the evening was relaxing..🥢🍣

I remember those days so well. The two boys to a water polo game on Sunday and my daughter to a korfball game on Saturday. But it was also a lot of fun!! And, it does not last forever, once the weekends become calmer again.
