On The Wings Of Fathers

The glory of any man you can see is embedded in their stories. And for whatever goal you have set for yourself, and to which challenges you may be passing through right now, someone else have gone through that and have emerged victoriously - all you need to do is to ride on their shoulders to see the result they saw.

To see further in life, you need to stand on the feathers of fathers. As it were; there is no apartheid or segregation in knowledge. Whoever has the answers to the questions you seek, then you need to go after them. They may not be the kind of person you need, but learn to look beyond the container, and look at the content you desire.

You may not be able to have the full glimpse of the destination you are enroute to, but you can see through the eye of people that have gone ahead of you to make the journey easier. The experiences that took someone years to acquire (both the trials, the challenges, the failures, the corrections, and the successes) can be passed on to someone else in minutes - you only need to align yourself to their tutelage.

The challenges you are facing right now is not new and exclusively preserved for you. Someone else somewhere has faced the same challenge (maybe in a different form) and made a headway, you just need to find out how they were able to succeed at it.

Who you look up to determines how and what your life would look like. A particular adage in this part of the world expresses this fact:

When someone promises to give you a shoe, you should look at the one on his legs to know the kind of shoes he is wearing - Naija adage.

In the same way; even though you are not an island, and you may not make it alone, and you would need the help of people that have gone ahead of you, but you still need to apply caution. Not everyone on a journey is going the same place with. For you to fly higher, you need to locate the person enroute to the same course as you are and apply the same method they did, and you would hope to see the same result.
