Unvaccinated Children Pose Zero Risk

The century-old debate about the benefits and risks of vaccines lives on and has not reached an unquestionable conclusion.

Being a parent, I care about the welfare and health of our kids. From the day they were born until teenage, I lost track of the number of vaccines they had to endure. At one point in time, I was having a conversation with our daughter's pedia about her recommendation to give 5 vaccines in one day to our 18-month old. "Can her body take these amount of vaccines all at once?" I asked. "Sure. The amount of bacteria in these vaccines combined is no more than the bacteria your child gets when she plays in the dirt". That was the answer I received. No mention of the lead content which was my main question.

What I found to be frustrating was that they (at least the pedia that we go to) don't tell you which ones are mandatory vs optional. I felt that its profit that drives the recommendation to take all the available vaccines. Partly, we were to blame since we did not do our research properly.

A Harvard immunologist explains why unvaccinated children pose no risk to their vaccinated counterparts:

No Brainer?

The findings seem like a no-brainer. Vaccines are supposed to make you immune to the virus. If 9 of 10 children were vaccinated for example, even if the unvaccinated child catch the virus, the 9 are supposed to be immune, right? Unless of course, the vaccine is not 100% effective? Am I missing anything?

Countries with highest vaccination rates have highest infant mortality rates

Published in the journal Human & Experimental Toxicology in 2011, an independent computer scientist and a researcher from the Think Twice Global Vaccine Institute, wealthy countries that require the highest number of vaccines for children under the age of 1 also have the highest rates of death in that age group.

The study stemmed from the recognition that while the U.S. vaccine schedule calls for more vaccine doses than any other country, the United States still ranks 34th among nations in terms of infant mortality. The U.S. vaccine schedule calls for 26 vaccine doses before age 1.
