Shams saw a dream about companionship that one day he will meet a person and that person will be the mirror to him. A letter was recieved one day in which there was a request from someone from the land of rumi that if there is any person who can be the companion of Rumi should be sent there. Long after an era of testing patience of shams, the master of shams sent him to meet rumi. Shams wandered in the city to know about rumi before meeting him. Rumi was very famous for his words and preachings. After few days sham met rumi and asked a question that made rumi believe that shams is the companion for whom he was waiting for. Together they dicussed the forrty rules of love and made rumi unlearn everything he learnt to adopt the change.
