Thank God I'm Not a Dentist! 🙌

Hi there @steemkhrystyna!

Please excuse the late reply - I'm only just now seeing this, but I'm very glad you took the time to read and comment.

If you're questioning your path like I was, I really recommend you keep searching!

There was a time that I didn't know if I actually LOVED anything either, and for the same reason - I liked a lot of stuff! How was I supposed to choose just one thing at the exclusion of all else?

I had no idea what I cared about, but I did realize that dentistry wasn't good enough for me. It didn't make my heart LEAP! I wasn't excited to get out of bed and do it. I wasn't passionate about it. It was alright or whatever...but there came a point when I realized it wasn't enough for me to live an "alright" life - I wanted something that made my soul SING!

And dentistry just wasn't enough.

To be honest it was really, really, really scary to walk away from that. I knew that dentistry was a guaranteed path to financial success, but it didn't make me happy. It's really hard to walk away from money when society tells us that's the ultimate measure of success, especially without any kind of Plan B!

All I knew was that there had to be something more to life than just waking up to an alarm to go to a job I barely tolerated just to get a fat paycheck, and more importantly that it was up to ME and me alone to find out what that was.

I had to take a leap of faith that there was something better out there for me. It took a LONG time for me to learn how to listen to my soul and pay attention to it, but eventually I realized what I really wanted was to #1 feel peace and #2 travel and see things I had never seen before.

So I started doing yoga, and later I moved to Peru. And those are some of the greatest things I've ever done for myself!

At this point in life I only do the things I really want to do. A LOT has happened to get me here, but I never have to waste my time on boring sucky things I don't like doing. It's magic!

I highly recommend taking up yoga, because it really helps you be honest with yourself and treat yourself kindly and learn how to give yourself all those things your heart and soul really, truly want.

I wish you all the best, and I hope you find happiness, health, and fulfillment beyond your wildest dreams -
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!
