Hatred comes from the lack of our understanding of the other persons's feelings, from our selfishness. As you said, we cannot enjoy life, we cannot see beauty in anything when we are full of hatred. Indeed. It's often easier to hate than it is to truly witness another person. It takes courage to step outside of that box and witness another human being with complete compassion. But doing so is the greatest gift, for in doing so we witness the truth. <3
