MOTIVATIONAL POSTS
Every day I write posts for my Instagram account and I simply love it. I get inspired just by watching a random motivational video, an interview, or even a movie where a character is saying something that gets my attention and BUM. I keep my pan and my diary ready for this kind of sudden emergencies.
In the past few days, I was especially motivated by two successful people. First was Will Smith saying how self-discipline is the center of all material success, and another one from Grant Cardone saying how you get in life what you negotiate and not what you deserve. There are plenty more quotes each day that is catching my eye but just to mention these two got me thinking.
SELF-DISCIPLINE
We all know what do we need to do in life, to get our dreams come true, thus so many of us don't. Many don't even try it or give up too quickly. Self-discipline is really the key to succeed in life. To be hungry enough for that change, to have the courage to go after your dreams and be persistent when you are turned down with a potential client, at the job interview, when you fail to keep your relationship work etc.
I consider myself to be a very self-disciplined person, hence even I have days that I need to kick myself. It's not easy, thus it can be done. When your dreams and wishes are big enough, and something you can't live without, I truly believe you find a way to self-discipline yourself and start to make your dreams a reality.

YOU GET WHAT YOU NEGOTIATE
When I was younger and even a few years ago I firmly believed that you always get what you deserve in life and if you will do everything right someone will notice your value. Unfortunately, life and circumstances are not always that fair or simple. Parents were teaching us to go to school, be kind and fair, get a job, and by no means don't ever argue and just do your job well. All that is great, hence NOT enough. Values and rules of the game are changing for the past decade faster than ever before.
Nowadays we need to be more outgoing and negotiate what we believe we deserve. We need to stand behind our knowledge and to dare to risk, to truly live our potential. As I mentioned some people even say you need to be hungry enough to be willing to take that chance, or as Grant Cardone would say, "to be obsessed enough or to stay average." Lately, I'm trying to do a lot of things out of the ordinary, or even a bit scared at first, thus afterwards I feel awesome.
What about you? Have you done anything out of the ordinary lately? How does it feel?
Discomfort brings progress, growth, engagement, and change. It brings you so much joy, fulfillment, and happiness.
To your discomfort & happiness.
Talk to you soon,
Much love,
SR*
