I totally agree with your @markdeheide. There is even a Croatian song I'm Sorry, where the artist is lyrics goes ... Lakše umrijet, nego ljudima reč Oprosti (It's easier to die than say I'm sorry). I admit my mistakes and always say I'm sorry, even when I'm in the bad mood and moody, I say sorry if I snappy at you​ today, just avoid me and we will be fine :)
