Hey Girl, where you been we missed you.

^{A summer of adventure, activity and booze. It can't be bad eh?
But there has been one major change in my life.}

Well I've been camping with the scouts, taking part in the Poacher international jamboree where I got to cross something off my bucket list and was able to shoot and air rifle (turns out I'm a pretty decent shot so watch out!)

One major thing has changed, if you look back through older photos of me you will notice that I have a much bigger smile now.

Since March this year I have been having dental surgery, some of it has been pretty painful, I've had 11 teeth removed and 8 reconstructed. In July I had the final ones removed and was fitted with an upper and lower partial denture.

While it took a couple of weeks to get used to them, now they are a normal part of my life but they haven't just made a difference to a few selfies, as I have been told I am now a lot more confident and that really came out when I had my girls weekend away.

We only see each other once a year for this big meet up so changes are noticeable, even if you have been keeping up to date with thing on facebook. To have my friends come up to me and say WOW and "you have really come out of yourself" I actually didn't realise how much I was trying to hide even though I have always been one of the louder, more extrovert members of the group.

But that weekend was amazing, lots of fun, lots of drinking, singing and dancing and a little bit of crafting. (Oh and a failed attempt to light a bbq to cook beans on toast) We even katakanu-ed down the river to the pub (I won an award for being the most prepared for this activity since I bought my kayaking gear, and everyone was pleased for the drybag to put their phones in.)

Anyway that's enough for one day, I'm settling back into my normal routine again and you will be seeing more of me.
