Once the weather warmed up, the pansies were not happy in that cute bicycle planter I bought (and wrote about) in April. The soil dries out too quickly in the tiny pots, and the pansies were looking half dead. So I transplanted them into a large pot, and put succulents in the bicycle decor. I kinda wish the plant in the lowest pot was really sharp: perhaps the cat would learn not to rub on it endlessly! He was always rubbing against the pansies, causing the ones in the lowest pot to look extremely pathetic long before the weather warmed up. Sometimes feline enthusiasm is a bit overdone.
