Day 6 - 2017

Exercise At Least Once A Day!

Participating in physical activity is good for you, so I've been told ๐Ÿ˜‹

In all seriousness doing at least a minimum of 20 minutes a day will have a profound impact on your physiological and mental health. For instance, you will have a boost in your energy levels, reduce your risk for heart disease, you will see an increase in flexibility & strength, your self-confidence will begin to skyrocket, happiness levels will soar, your memory will increase, and so much more.

If exercising is difficult for you to fit in your jam-packed busy schedule then break it into 10 minutes twice a day. If you can do more that is AWESOME!

For those of you who find this difficult, I myself included on some days, okay most days ๐Ÿ˜…,
then here is a suggestion for you:

Try It Out! You Got This!

Day 1 of Your Exercise Daily Regimen:
1.) Stand up from the couch or desk and do as many jumping jacks in 1 minute as fast as you can. Don't forget to breathe! You got this!

GREAT JOB!

2.) Since you're standing run in place for another minute as hard as you can! Keep going!

YOU ARE DOING AWESOME!
Remember move at your own pace. Take a break if you need to. Drink water to hydrate yourself ๐Ÿ˜‰

3.) While standing place your feet hip-width apart from each other and knees slightly bent. Now raise your arms up, hands parallel to the ground, and start moving your arms in small circles. With each circle gradually make them bigger till you've reached the largest one and then gradually make them smaller again. Repeat. Do this for 1 minute. You are doing Amazing!

4.) Standing position again, feet hip-width apart, and knees slightly bent. Starting Position: Bring your arms up like a Goal Post (Arms bent at the elbow and parallel to the ground. Your forearms are perpendicular to the ground and fingers towards the sky). Bend and lift your Left Knee up, at the same time bring your Right elbow across your body and try to touch your Left Knee. Now bring it back to the starting position & repeat. Do 10 reps on this side. Now Switch to the opposite side, Left Elbow to Right Knee. Do 10 reps on this side. Don't forget to BREATHE IN & OUT! Take a break if you need to. Work at your own pace ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Now do another 10 reps, but this time instead of staying with one side change it up by switching from one side to the other with each rep. For instance, bring Right Elbow to Left Knee and the on the next rep being Left Elbow to Right Knee. Move at your own pace!

You are Rocking It!!!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
These are just a few fun exercises you can do standing up!

Now let's do some Stretching!

1.) While standing hip-width apart, knees slightly bent, bring your Right Arm across your chest toward the Left side. Use your Left Hand to bring your Right Arm closer to your body. Breathe In & Out! Do this for at least 30 seconds and switch to the other side, Left Arm across your chest and Right Hand to bring it closer. Do this also for at least 30 seconds.

Way to go! You're Almost There!

2.) Now bring your Left Arm over your head towards your back. Take your Right Hand and push your Left Elbow down to get that extra stretch. Be careful not to push to much. You want to push enough to feel that stretch on the Left side. Do this for 30 seconds & BREATHE IN & OUT! Switch it over to the Right Arm. Bring it back over your head and use the Left Hand to push down on the Right Elbow. Do this for 30 seconds and don't forget to BREATHE IN & OUT!

GREAT JOB!!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

3.) Once again place your feet hip-width apart and knees slightly bent. Bring both arms all the way up, reaching for the sky, as if you want to touch one of the clouds or stars (depends on what time you are doing this โ˜๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ)
Do this for at least 30 seconds and BREATHE In & Out!

Let's Do One More! You can do it!!!!!

4.) From your standing position bend forward at the hips, knees still slightly bent, and bring your hands downwards towards your toes. Don't forget to breathe in and out. Make sure your back is nice and straight as you bend forward. If you can't touch your toes just yet that is okay. ๐Ÿ‘ Do this for at least 30 seconds and don't forget to BREATHE IN & OUT! ๐Ÿ˜

You did it!!! AWESOME JOB!!!!!

With daily practice, you will see that each time you do these exercises it will become easier and easier.
