The personality of a person is defined as the sum total of his life experiences. The personality of an individual gets moulded at an early young age when his cognitive functions start maturing and developing. His karma of his life moulds his each and every action. The good or bad that he does follows him throughout his life, come what may. He cannot escape from this. It is this Karma that shapes his course of life. His feelings of happiness, unhappiness, guilt and threat stem from the events of his life and his activities.
The theories and studies on the fragile nature of the human mind, personality and psychology will not hold good universally. But the concept of Atma or soul and karma stands the test of time. That is why world over the concept of Yoga is spreading like wildfire. An hour of Pranayama, a method of breathing in Yoga, has been found to have a profound impact on an agitated or disturbed individual without the support of any medicines or any kinds of equipment. Behavioral scientists and psychologists are trying to fathom the human mind with abstract theories and studies which is like searching for a black cat in a dark room.
