These past few days are restless for me,my kids both got sick and they had fever. I have to stay awake for 3 nights because of that. My son got fever first because of his cough,and the hot weather. Because its summer the weather got so hot and my children's body was not able to adjust easily. While I was taking care of my son,I did not notice my daughters health. And later that afternoon I noticed that my daughter has fever too. She got that because of Urinary Track Infection. I was so worried and I just said to my self,why not me? I can't bare looking at them while their sick,the pain that they're feeling is double the pain that I feel while watching them sleep.
So while worrying I thought of my parents and wish they were here to cheer me up,to tell me everything is going to be fine. I called my papa and told him about it,I know how he loves my children. He was worried too and he said he is going to send money so I can bring them to a doctor and get them checked. And so he did sent the money,I only needed someone to tell all my troubles but I never expected for my parents to help me financially. I was so happy and because of that I was able to bring them to a doctor and I bought them medicines. Honestly I'm not in a good shape either,I too feel like I'm going to have fever but I can't be sick right now. I have to be healthy for my kids.
At times like this I realize how parents really loves us. Though we are already married and living far from them,although we already have different lives they never think that they're duty with us ended already. Parents are indeed wonderful person and I never got to understand that until I became one. The way they worry for us getting hurt,now I totally understand why they were strict with me before its because they feel the pain that we feel whenever we get hurt. Parents remain parents no matter how old we get God has created them to be with us until the end,to guide ad support us all through out our journey. Even if we are already married they are always there to help,spiritually,physically and financially.
Its amazing how parents think of the welfare of their children before them. I don't get why other parents I saw in the news can hurt their kids,I don't know the reason but for all I know parents should be loving,tender and caring. They should be guiding their children until the end. I'm lucky enough to have my parents supporting me always and I can only pray that all of us has those kind of parents. And I also want to become a responsible parent to my children. I know I can do these,I can raise them well with the help and guidance of my mama and papa and of course the Lord God.
A parent's love never ends,its always there until their very last breathe,I can say that because I am already a parent too. Parents does not have salary for taking care of us but they do the job whole heartedly. This kind of job has no day off and salary,no vacation and no rest. Salute to all our parents who has raised us all well. Lets not take them for granted and tell them how much we love them,show them how thankful you are that they are your parents. If there is a time to say I love you,now is the time.
