Last week we decided to do an experiment , we wanted to find how clocks work. so i was told to bring the old clock from the mechanics room, so i came back with the clock in a few minutes.,my friend wanted to help. but we decieded to prepare the experiment.
The rest of the members were told to rest in the room to gather around the table .,,i was told to bring some tools. then i went back to the mechanics office. the mechabics told me to get the the tools which were in the corner.
They were in a box which was painted green. then i took the tools.
By then , had finished the preparation for the experiment. then i put the clock upside down on a cloth which was in front of me. then he took off the back of the clock .we were ready for the experiment.
They were interested in all the little wheels which they saw inside the clock. there are about four or five wheels. the wheels were bright . they each had small teeth around which fitted in the teeth of another wheel.
I touched the wheel and it stopped.
all the other wheels stopped, too , the members were told that all the clock pieces of the clock had to work together.
if the big wheel which was in front stopped the whole clock stopped.
how does a clock work , is asked.
All the wheels make the clock work. if you stop them , all the other will stop.
we turned the clock around so that all the members could see. when you stop the big wheel all the other will stop ,the big wheel has teeth , these teeth feet into the teeth of the next wheel.
this makes the clock work.
The members were very happy to see the experiment. while eah one had the chance to try the experiment ,wen the experiment was finished.
