S1 E02 - The Moon

The sun is eclipsed by the moon.
With rays bursting out of the seams.
The full moon has always been characterized by a manic time.
Even the latest American Horror Story: My Roanoake Experience touches on the blood moon.

When you lose your inhibition to be one with nature - expressed by the two wolves.
And at the bottom you see a crustacean - Pisces emerging from the waters.

I used to think what if the sole purpose of life is to return to Origin.
Return to nature.

What is nature?

Ask any Buddhist and they will tell you its the path of surrender / anti-survival.
Think about it - fasting, vegetarianism - how much you cut and dice it - its a path of escaping this reality.
From my research - its not entirely sustainable - nor is it meant to be.
So giving up your place in this reality for others to prosper.
The left hand path of food / sleep / material comfort deprivation - leads to that.

On the reverse end - you have the alpha survival side of things.
Where it preaches you should thrive in the forest of life - aim to dominate everything.
Survival of the fittest - so your aim is to strive to be the fittest - flushing off the weak and ensuring only the strong / dominant trait survives.
This comes by strengthening your mind and body to be the ultimate best - ripped muscles, charismatic personality, striving to perfection - even to the extent of ensuring the "weak" is eliminated.

I have swung on both sides of the pendulum - but found that it answer lies in the tao.

The middle path.

Its a shaky ground to thread - but I found being conscious of your beliefs, thoughts and actions - will pave the way to whether or not you are grounded / balanced.
